Reset Utopia

Project for an undisclosed client. The idea was to design our vision of the future of a city in 2100 in a given temperature zone - my temperature zone was arid template climate. I chose a mid-country spanish city and tried to envision how the city would look like and what would be needed for a future population to adapt to a hotter and more extreme climate. I was trying to not fall into the luring trap of drawing typical dystopical cityscapes - "reset utopia" refers exactly to this - trying to envision a future worth living for and far from the apocalyptic hellscapes of popular science fiction we consume nowadays. A lot of sketches and ideas went into this final layout - as this was a complex prompt I tried to split it into several images depicting different city areas as well as a few more detailed concepts for mobility, fashion, etc.
